A single ideal day on the coast, planned the way we would for ourselves

The hour-by-hour outline of a resort day we would craft for ourselves on a Tuesday in late June. Adapt as you wish.

A single ideal day on the coast, planned the way we would for ourselves

07:00 · Quiet swim

The pool is empty and towel service has not begun. A coffee cart sits by the entrance with single-origin filter coffee, no menu and no line. This half hour is the finest of the day.

08:30 · Terrace breakfast

Eggs made to order, pastries from the kitchen oven, a small plate of seasonal fruit. We have no faith in breakfast buffets. We trust plates carried by waiters who have served the same families for ten years.

10:00 · Spa or sea

Either choice works. The spa hammam is bright and still in the morning. The sea is calmest before midday. Most guests pick one and wish they had done both; a few manage both.

13:30 · Long lunch

Three hours at the lagoon bistro, with a bottle of light white and a plate of grilled fish you did not expect to want. No phones, no haste. This is the meal that stays with you.

18:00 · Golden hour terrace

Aperitif on the upper deck. The bar team will know your name by the second day. The signature negroni rests on a vermouth we produce on-site; it is the most unexpected drink on the property.

21:00 · Tasting menu

Eight courses, two hours, one wine pairing. Years went into shaping this evening. We hope it rewards the journey.

23:30 · A short hour at the table

Or a slow walk back to the suite. Either path: tomorrow opens at 07:00 with a swim, and the cycle is the whole idea.
