Type4-star hotel

Evening softens the edges of a large property. Lights lift along the river side, the lobby gathers conversation, and the gaming rooms take on that warm, social glow that makes a stay feel like an occasion. I took my time walking the public floors — unhurried, noticing how hospitality here leans into welcome rather than rush.

The room met me with space and a river view that settled my shoulders immediately. Soft light, a generous bed, blackout curtains that meant business — those were the first comforts I catalogued. It felt like a place designed for a proper night’s rest after a long day of corridors and elevators.

The place is clean and in a good location, but it's not ideal for relaxing. In fact, it's more of a casino than a hotel. Finding parking was confusing—I spent 30 minutes just trying to locate the entrance. Overall, I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys casinos or lively, crowded places.

My husband and I came down with his family this week to enjoy the hotel, the amenities, and to see a show. I'll start by saying how beautiful the hotel is, how clean the rooms are, and how wonderful the staff is; we felt comfortable and welcomed the moment we walked through the door. Dinner at Neros was divine; it was hands-down the best food and service we've ever had. Every single bite literally melted in our mouths. Afterward, we went to enjoy the slots and had a fabulous evening filled with fun, great service, and laughter; until I accidentally dropped my casino payout ticket. We approached the staff about the issue, thinking not much could be done. To our complete surprise, the casino team was incredibly patient, kind, and thorough. What I thought would be a total shot in the dark took them only 10 minutes; they pulled up the cameras, tracked it down, and sorted everything out. The security here is absolutely incredible, and I am extremely impressed. We would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Hotel was overall great. The room was spacious, clean with a great view of the river. Staff were very friendly and accommodating to all our wishes. The only negative for the experience was the amount of walking due to the size of the property. Would return and book again!

I brought my Mom and husband to the Casino on May 10th(Mother's day) We were staying at a hotel in Windsor and not at the casino's hotel but we used the Valet because my husband is an amputee in a wheelchair and my mom uses a walker. I was shocked that there was a $25.00 charge for an amputee to use the valet. (At casino Niagara and Seneca Niagara there is no charge for handicapped people) Also when I went to the rewards desk was shocked that they were not giving anything for Mother's day unless you were a Seven Seas or Diamond member. I found the casino not too easy to push my husband around. The carpet I know is plush to look nice but it is challenging for handicapped people. Also when we arrived at 4 pm the one handicapped stall in the washroom on the top floor by the poker room was out of order and six hours later when my husband needed to vomit I rushed him to the bathroom not realizing it was the same washroom and the handicapped stall was still broken after 6 hours. As a casino that has alot of handicapped people you have to do better. When your remodel try having a low pile carpet or at least tile in the walkways. Also your comps are not very good. We spent $1600.00 and couldn't get a dinner comp. Years ago when you came here the comps were much better for normal everyday people like me that aren't high rollers.

We went to a show at the Colosseum. It was an excellent venue. Friendly staff and ample space in the rows. The seats could use some updated padding for comfort. We can't wait to come back! The express valet was also really nice, it jumps you to the front of the line!

Beautiful Hotel. The sleep was great with a very comfortable King Sized Bed and excellent blackout curtains. The one issue I had was our second night was concert night (we didn’t go) and we had no idea how long the lines to eat were going to be! We waited over and hour to get into Spago to sit at bar. There were lines for Johnny Rockets, Legend’s sports bar, and even Tim’s. They need to get more places to eat or a single bar to get snacks. Great customer service though and granted us a late check out. Be prepared to walk a lot and have change or singles to tip the vallet and the bell hop.

Along the river edge

Stepping outside, the immediate surroundings feel urban and open to the water. Short walks give you river air and city movement; you don’t need a grand expedition to feel you’ve left the carpeted floors. I liked knowing the evening could stretch either indoors or a few minutes into the open air.

Was the stay worth it? In the ways that matter to me — comfort, kindness at the desk, a room that restored sleep — yes. The property is large, and that scale is part of the bargain: you trade a boutique hush for energy, dining options, and a sense of occasion.

Arrival, and one small friction

Check-in took a measured few minutes; the desk handled the queue without drama, and the walk to the room was longer than a boutique hotel’s — expected on a property this size. Keys in hand, the corridor felt calm despite the bustle below.

My one honest annoyance: wayfinding on arrival can ask for patience, especially if you’re looking for the right entrance after a drive. It stayed a small friction, not a spoiled evening — but it’s worth arriving with a little buffer.

I would come back for a show weekend or a river-view reset with friends who like a lively house. Caesars Windsor feels most itself when you lean into that energy rather than fighting it.

Evenings on the doorstep

Dusk along the river feels gentle even when the property is busy. I stood a moment with the water air on my face, then stepped back into light and conversation. The evening never asked me to hurry; it simply kept offering another room, another glow, another reason to linger indoors.

Arrival and check-in

I arrived mid-afternoon to a lobby that already carried weekend energy. The line moved; the welcome was warm without being theatrical. Keys sorted, I followed the long indoor path to the lifts — a walk that reminds you this is a campus as much as a hotel.

Give yourself a few extra minutes on arrival; the welcome is steady once you’re in the flow.
