Evening at the lodge softens in stages. The casino sits tucked away from the main hotel wing, so the corridors I walked after dinner kept a quieter pulse than the gaming rooms. Lights lowered, voices thinned, and the property felt more like a roadside lodge than a night-long spectacle — a balance I appreciated.

One small thing landed better than expected: how calmly late arrivals are absorbed. Even with evening traffic at the desk, the hotel wing stayed peaceful. That separation — entertainment on one side, sleep on the other — is the detail I’d flag first for anyone driving in after dark.
